Hello! This is Ueno・Ameyoko Office. Ueno is the place which is surrounded by nature that a zoo, a museum, and an university is in a huge park. On the other hand, it is also an active place that there are small shops which still remind us the atmosphere of traditional Tokyo. Ueno is close from the traditional shopping and entertainment district, “Asakusa,” or the home of Japanese subculture, “Akihabara.”

  • Before you find a pair of good jeans at Ameyoko Street.

    Ameyoko Street is a shopping street that is named right after the WWⅡ. Some says the name is from an American street. The street is like a maze with a lot of small shops, and you can find cosmetics, jeans, aloha shirts, or something else that attract you. You will need us to get something you want!

  • After you spent your time at Ueno zoo with pandas and gorillas.

    Ueno zoo is the most traditional zoo with the largest number of visitors in Japan which is located inside of the Ueno Park. There are more than 500 different species of animals there including some scarce ones like pandas, gorillas, hippos, and tigers. After you went to see those animals, get some money at our office!

  • Before you slip into the ancient time at the National Museum of Nature and Science.

    The National Museum of Nature and Science is the only museum of total nature and science in Japan. They exhibit a real fossil of Triceratops with the world’s best condition, stuffed large mammals and birds, and so on. There is also a sphere-shaped theater, and it will be an unique experience for you. Before you slip into the ancient time of earth there, visit us.

  • Before you go to give a prayer at Bentendo Temple in the Ueno Park.

    There is the Bentendo Temple at the middle of the Shinobazu Pond, which its surface is filled with the flower of lotuses in the summer. The God of the place is known as the god of wealth which derives from one of the gods of Hinduism. When people give a prayer, it is thought to be able to get blessings in study, art, wealth, encounter, or some other ways. Also, you can go to row a boat at the pond, so exchange some money at our office, and go there!
